We'll I called my companies safety department and the answer was they could fax me a copy of my cdl as they told me I can't use that as a temporary until I get back to California
-
You can't or you can use that as a temporary?Just wanna make sure that wasn't a typo.If u can't use it then what wait for days for Calif to send you a temp? That faxed copy has always worked for me and DOT never said a thing about it.
-
Exactly what I said safety said I cant use the copy as a temp

In NH we can print out another license and order a new one online. Not sure about other states but when you renew in NH your given a printed one and have to wait up to 45 days for your new license to come in the mail.
So, all that being said, go online and see if you can print yours.Demonrogue Thanks this. -
I will look into to it and thanks skate board. Saftey arranged for a bus ride home now my fleet manager telling me not go anywhere so I am trying work with her and clear things up of what they want me to do.
I just called my state DMV closest to where my companies terminal and I was told I can use a photocopy of my license and that it would be up to the officer discretion in regards to it if they ask me for it as the information would still come up validLast edited: May 31, 2016

In Missouri, the courts have ruled that you do not have to have a copy of your license on your person to drive a vehicle. The police can pull of a copy. Stop at a police station and get a note.
People get their wallets stolen all the time. Do you really think that the law would be so petty as to keep you from working if you had your wallet stolen?Dave_in_AZ and MidwestResident Thank this. -
