As long as the state shows it is valid when the cop looks it up, it really isn't that big of a deal. If a ticket is issued, it will be dismissed simply by providing evidence that it was providing proof (copy of the license, copy of the MVR, etc...) that it had been issued and was valid at the time of the stop.

Florida will hold you until you have proof of your license. Nice little catch 22 down there.
No idea what Pa, Va, NC, SC, or Tn (depending on route taken) will do if she gets stopped with a copy of her license.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
