Oil analysis is trending towards internal coolant leak.
-
What could that mean?
-
EGR cooler leaking?
(FYI....I got 99 problems and EGR aint 1 of them)
Supposing coolant loss is not an issue...the only thing that comes to mind is tire contact patch. Maybe there's more "friction" than before, since tires are "older" or more worn-out, as compared to the last 3 yrs --- AGAIN, I'm assuming you may have had new tires from the time of reference to now.Black389 Thanks this. -
The egr is blocked off with a Metal plate since the delete. And drive tires still orgrinal since bought truck. Steers on third set.

Who did the delete? It does not sound like a proven Rawze MM style one, as plating off components is not needed. When was the fuel pump inspected and rebuilt? Is the EGR Cooler plated or welded shut? Or did they remove it? How about the SCR box, was that removed and "fixed"? If nothing was done to the SCR box, you are more than likely cooking the motor. Do you have a pyrometer gauge installed? You will need a Cummins Inline reader and the software to see what they did to your ECM, that is where I would start. Some of these delete outfits turn off the warnings, God only knows what they did to your motor.
Head over to Rawze.com, you have real issues, at least in my opinion, which ain't worth spit. But, I have been down this road. -
One of my buddies is leaking coolant from his "deleted" egr. Found this out this week...
About them original tires on the drives...something to look into ? -
Came back from the a shop, and they found clyinder #2 leaking oil and a big bolt was broken from the head. So now my question is do i need to rebuild motor? We havent pulled the head off cus they said we dont go inside thr motor. When i was coming back from cali to indy my truck sucked on fuel milage but power was unbelievable i was passing every other truck. Im thinking of taking it to PDI since i have the delete. But pdi also said we wouldn’t know if thr motor is due a rebuild or the head and piston needs a rebuild. And for a full rebuild they said it would be 18k

This was the bolt that was just broken
-
Exhaust manifold bolt is what it appears to. No need for overhaul.
