I'm surprised Amazon would let a trailer be un-accounted for for 2 months.

If it were empty I doubt they noticed.

This is the other thing is did the driver breakdown at the loves in Jackson Tennessee, which is approximately 100 miles from Nashville and leave the trailer in Jackson and bobtail all the way to Nashville? Kind of what it looks like based on what the OP is reporting, if that’s the case there’s a Freightliner in Jackson Tennessee… With that being said, if that’s the case, something is not sounding right with this story…

Any half decent shop should be able to do a clutch in a day.......

Add Jb Hunt to that list as well. Ended up using one of their trailers on their PO side to pick up and deliver loads on their DV side using their app.

    interesting things can happen.

As for Amazon, if it’s parked they don’t mind it, as it is free storage for them. At the moment Amazon locations are full of trailers and not enough loads. So it’s parked they don’t care.

But you did apparently just drop the trailer, regardless with or without verbal permission.

Malicious? Do you even know the definition of this? I doubt very seriously this was done with malice at all, that is intent to do harm. They simply wanted the trailer gone off their property. This completely assumes it was Loves that it had towed to begin with. You are free to allege whatever you like, but proving it will be your burden, not that of Loves.

Interesting and valid question as I am sure Amazon either didn't want the trailer sitting, or may have quite possibly had it towed themselves.

Agree completely with @Opus on this one. No way it was $1600.00 tow alone, just across the street.
    Agree with this, as well.
As for the claiming there was no signs saying no dropped trailers I haven't been to any of the big box truck stops that did not have signs. Perhaps you maybe took your pictures at angles that would make one think otherwise? Unless you did video the entire parking lot, and every perimeter. Not intending to bust your chops. I would probably be upset too if my trailer was towed, but the essence is your truck broke down and it took a long while to get repaired. Nobody else is responsible or liable for a trailer you were ultimately liable for.

Me too! Just paid the filing fee, waived service and the soon to be ex wife went to court and I did not. Thought my world was crashing at the time, but was the best $450 or so I ever spent.

What's the old joke..."why is divorce so expensive? because it's worth it"
