The one out in Dexter isn't all that bad, I had no issues with them, Monroe I have had nightmares with.
Speedco gave a few drivers a hassle with bringing filters in for an oil change the last few times, one in Texas double charged the account and then claimed that they did two oil changes. Another in Illinois would not give us a discount for our own filters and oil.
Loves really took a dump on SpeedCo.

Seems like they spend the most. Whether or not it works, who knows? My point is I don't want to be up sold by a teenager that doesn't know a diesel from a doorbell. I always wondered if the one taking your order received a commission for each add on charge.Bean Jr. Thanks this.

I was looking for information and saw the ten times per cycle on how it works. Before that I thought it was six. All that sounds kind of wild to me as cavitation erosion did 40 years ago. I have no better explanation so I will just go with it.
60,000 plus? Fine!
If any of that sounds crazy how about stacking rocks and applying current so they expand. Can not knock some of this new technology. Pierre Curie documented this is 1880 by energizing quartz crystals.
Now they stack them up and apply voltage to operate injectors.
Doubtful? I don't have time to argue or be made at you! I am to busy being mad at myself. Just warped up the door on my new to me baler. Should have taken the hour to run it back and forth to the shop. Could have spotted it in. Stayed on it a bit to long with the torch. At least it works now and it will be OK with some paint. Cannot fix injectors that
easily.
Now I am cooled off and will go back out to be mad at myself.
I appreciate your good posts!Tug Toy, spsauerland, Oldironfan and 1 other person Thank this. -
Company Background & History - Luberfiner
I think you're confused with Fleetguard Filters..blairandgretchen, Bean Jr., BoxCarKidd and 1 other person Thank this. -
Fleet Guard is Cummins. Never heard of the other, never seen them either as I've wondered about KW shops.
Baldwin's are a cheaper filter that larger companies use.
I have Baldwin's fuel, and fuel water separator filters in my cab for emergency back up.
My fuel water separator is an odd ball. -
When you guys are near Phoenix and need a service call me.
The guy that does mine will give you one for $125 bring your own filters & oil, which you can get at Freightliner right down the street,
OR
Use his ( Fleet guard ), and Valvoline oil
for $300.
Chassis Lube,5th wheel, check gear boxes, adjust brakes included.
You check and air your own tires.
Rotate drives for another $75.
Typically Saturdays only.HopeOverMope Thanks this. -
FleetGuard is a subsidiary of Cummins. FleetGuard and Luberfiner both use LF prefixes. I do not know of any other engine company that makes their own filters. Donaldson used to make filters for Cat but I heard they went to the red company. Even though engine companies sub out filters does not mean they are the same as standard filters from the same company.
haycarter and blairandgretchen Thank this.
