Loves truck stops…. Bad company need to go out of business

Best advice so far.....

 

Showers are way over rated anyways. I prefer to soak my weary bones in a warm bubble bath while enjoying the fragrance of an orange/hibiscus CBD candle and a chilled glass of Dom Perignon. Followed by a brisk toweling off and shoulder massage by Inga who has returned from Sweden unencumbered by a husband, but with a brand new desire to become a licenced masusse.

 

Sitting in my drivers seat with tears in my eyes from laughing so hard…

Just when did SHE come back? Care to elaborate?

 

Our company only lets us fuel at Loves so I don't even do PFJ anymore. The only time I have to wait for a shower is in the evening and that's only sometimes. Ironically enough, the furthest I've ever been back in the shower line was number 17 a few years ago, AT THE SAME TRUCK STOP I'm doing my 34 at right now. Last night I got in the shower line, and 2 showers out of 5 available at 6pm.

So it's just how you hit it. But don't be angry that Loves gives FAR better rewards to drivers than PFJ does and thus has more drivers taking showers there. Loves is a much better truck stop, IMHO. The only thing I like PFJ for is Cinnabon.

1000 gallons at Loves and I get a free shower and drink refill every day for the entire next month. PFJ I have to do 1500 gallons.

She's been back for about a month or so. She told me not to spread it around. I quote " be careful what you tell people especially @Lonesome , I smiled at him one time and now he thinks I have a "thing" for older guys."

 

Yeah and when you’re Platinum or Diamond you can use the showers as a private restroom without thought so that adds to it.

When I’m in a hurry I fuel in the morning before I head out so I don’t wait because as was stated above Love’s is popular because of their rewards program. That means I just wait to shower at the end of my day when I have time to wait. Using the app means you can get in line as you’re backing into a space, or heck get 55 gal of “emergency” fuel somewhere else if you are that pinched for time.

 

Is that right? And I suppose she's at the old 66Motel outside of Tuscon, just like old times.....
