Low Cost Verizon Data!!!!

I would never 'rent' an unlimited vzw plan.
You can find people selling them/transferring them on eBay though.

 

Maybe rent is the wrong word. I think we are all renting our voice and data service.

 

The Omnilynx thing bugs me. It looks like they took a government program/discount and tried to sell it into the commercial world. Fine if you got one of the lines that they sold, but the government is going to come after those services at some point.

 

Don't know.. In some cases you can transfer the contract through AOL Dept.
Others you're just renting it like this.

I rent a line off ebay (A little cheaper then the current prices). Its stupid expensive but considering how much data you get if you go to verizon and pay the same for thre service its pretty good. I'm also a huge internet addict so ya.

The problem is you can't buy a grandfathered plan if you don't already have one. So you buy one for between 500-1500 dollars and then you're out all the money.

 

That's way better than paying 450 upfront and then 250 a month afterwards.

 

I purchased a device off ebay. There was a new one for like 190.00 and then a used older model one for 100. I went with the older model. And after 3 days I will pay 198.00 for the first month of service and then 198.00 every month after that. After the 3 days, since my phone service bill resets on the 13th, I'm planning on using the 3 days trial as a period to really test it out and if it passes my test will change my phone service to a lower monthly service so I can save some money. Will receive the device on the 6th. 2-3 day free shipping!!

I use data more than I talk and text anyways. ( even though they are both going to stay unlimited; just lowering my data to something below 60gbs.)

Looking forward to some unlimited data. Planning on busting out my WiFi enabled pc in my truck and downloading some games since I'm a big gamer and couldn't do so without unlimited data!

Omni Lynx services to the public has been suspended. Will end on November 30,2015..

 

After doing a lot of research on the "Assumption of Liability" (AOL) on unlimited data plans (UDP), I was able to do an AOL yesterday, and I DIDN'T have a UDP line already! Nor do I have a business account. I have a plain old consumer plan. I bought the UDP from a seller on ebay for right at S1000, but I've now got 4G unlimited data for $29.99/month. The seller even guaranteed my money back if Verizon wouldn't complete the AOL, and was on a 3-way call with me & the Verizon rep during the whole process.
