Lid is located in the driver side kickoanel: left side, up 4. You're looking for bus relay type. There's one, then there's a plug-like deal, then ign. relay, then the Lvd. Sometimes they are not pushed all the way in, hence the " LVD bus is unpowered" warning. Make sure it's in good. If that doeirk, check your APU connectors to the truck batteries. Driver side step, remove to access the batteries, then look to your right, on the firewall you'll see 2 connectors, both having a + and- cables coming to it from batteries and going out to APU. make sure there's no corrosion. Also, remember that if you truck has needed a jump since your issue began, then there's a good possibility your truck batteries are not at full load capacity. Just saying....good luck driver.
Another Canadian driver and DavidK57918 Thank this. -
I changed my batteries, all new, then, when I went to crank it, the dashboard would blackout.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Hey I know it's been awhile since this but I'm going bonkers looking for the LVD I can't find it anywhere I found the mega fuse clean it and checked fuses there good change cables on batteries also to inverter too 2/0
And the batteries are new deep cycle
when I use my microwave my voltage drop slowly even with the Apu running until the invertor ( Jupiter 5000 watts) turns off.
I'm thinking it's LVD , alternator 13.85 volts truck and the same for the Apu maybe a little higher .
If someone can help would really appreciate this is making me go nutsAnother Canadian driver Thanks this. -
