I have never heard of Transmaster, so I looked at their website. Looks like a decent trailer from afar, but they appear to only sell direct with no dealers, which has some appeal if one runs near where they are manufactured in PA, but how does one get support and warranty work if you are across the country?

Anyway, to your question, their website gives phone numbers for sales.

    CAXPT and cke Thank this.

a little north of $500k by the time you get it spec’d out give or take $25k.

this assumes you are ordering enough deck to be functional.

and to answer the other question - all the steerable are heavy and you will not really be able to scale more than about 70k without a jeep and that is not included in that $500k.

it is however a bargain if you compare it to a multiaxle perimeter trailer……..

We’ve had quite a few quality issues with our transmaster triple 3s — and as you know we are located literally down the street from them.

they will stand by their trailer and fix it — but none of us have been overly impressed by them — personally I’m hoping we smooth over our relationship with TK

I see one of your old trailers just sold at Hale. Do you know if they have any more left there at Keen or did they get rid of all of them?

    cke Thanks this.

if you’re referencing the masters stretch trailer we had two of those. I think they’re both sold. If you know who bought them and they need weights to take arch out of the well I can probably tell you who to call. I’m 99% sure the weights are still in our possession.

    I pulled one of these

    One moment, please...

around pretty regularly a few years ago, and despite some rust issues they held up well. Most of the issues we have from our old trailers is driver abusive, plainly. I can’t speak on the newer stretch trailers — we bought them for a contract that we were underbid on by a significant margin by a handful of other companies. And a stretch trailer is far too heavy for our typical freight.

im not sure on the pricing of a masters compared to others in the industry, but they’re a decent trailer in my opinion.

I’m trying to buy one of your old trailers and if I follow through I would love to get the weights. Can you tell me who to contact at keen?
