I have a Cobra 29 LTD Classic made in 1991. Recently found out it had an echo board installed. I was just curious why the board replaced my delta tune control and my SWR CAL. The original controls were taped up and tucked away in the case. Is this how it is normally installed?

yes this how most shops install the echo pod on these radios....the delta tune knob is rarely used
and basicly useless and the swr meters in radios are junk so they are rarely used as well so
they tape them up and tuck them inside the radio and put the echo control in its place

    JCrouch1983 Thanks this.
