I'm sure their home time policy is like any other company. 1 day off for every week out. I "think" they want you out for at least 3 weeks?
No for the real way...I stay out a minimum of 4 weeks, I get better miles that way. My boss knows he can always "bribe" me with a good load to keep me out even longer. This is a trucking company, and sometimes its hard to get home on the day you REQUEST, due to freight availability. Once home tho, I've taken 5 days off. However, keep in mind, that's 5 days without making any money. Weeks coming out of the house are usually low miles. Weeks going home are also low miles. That's why I stay out longer, to make up for it.
Generally, my pay checks have a coma in them.
But, I also have a great truck, with APU, invertor, microwave, electric skillet, coffee pot, and a fridge. It makes life a lot more comfortable while trucking.
