I took some notes, as far as what to talk about introduce you're self, then I was going to talk about J.O.C's article from there big issue of the year called Tight As A Drum which was an article about how truck capacity is tight as a drum. There was also US Foods buy out of Food Service of America last year.
I'd have to check J.O.C this year.
If I was going to do one right now I'd probably talk about snow and cold and snow plowing to keep the roads open and do some research and talk about the International S units that the New York State DOT used to use to keep the Thruway open. Stuff like that being that it's -5 degrees here in Cleveland right now and two weeks ago we had a major snow storm that's all pretty relevant I think at least for now.

The other possibility is to do a general trucking podcast, with LTL/food/ etc. sections.

i apologize for even bringing the possibility of this up----it was very wanky.
Even if i DID have time to do it, i'm not doing it unless it's high-quality; There's too much useless junk out there. Lot's of "trucking podcasts" claim to be about trucking, but they end up talking about anything BUT trucking......
Now TruckerTom's podcast is ok because he never claimed that his is a trucking podcast. He just happened to call it "TruckerTom's podcast." -
I’m in the same boat.
In theory, you could use the voice memo button on a smartphone to record something, upload it somewhere on the internet and call it a podcast. Except the sound quality would be horrible and nobody would listen past the first minute. There’s equipment to buy, sound effects, bumper music, etc., then you still have come up with content. In my case I don’t know how I could make it work with 50 hour weeks at work, A two hour commute each day, and a motorcycle addiction... I’m sure y’all have the same issues.
