I have only gotten YRC to give me a call back. Since I’m waiting on my fingerprints to clear they said to call them back when I get the hazmat put on my license. I would like to do ltl or car hauling. I like being active and not just sitting behind a wheel. Carvana has offered me a job.

    Numb Thanks this.

i was just thinking about this today: i think a large reason why there's so much turnover and why things are generally so F'd up is that companies don't TRAIN anyone. Not just drivers, but dock..........everyone.

So,no. No company will train you---especially when they find out you've had your A for 8 years-----they can't wait just to throw you out there. And "you just need to learn the ropes on your own."

i hate to sound so negative, but i'm just telling it like it is.

Definitely understand what you’re saying. Companies are hurting so bad for drivers that when you show them you have ambition and that you can drive they throw you to the wolves. I have driven cmv for years, pulling all kinds of different trailers and driving all kinds of different trucks. But I have the limited tractor trailer experience. I have found out that most companies want that and don’t care what else you have experience in driving. In my opinion me driving a line truck with 60 ft poles on a pole trailer is equivalent to an 18 wheeler. Lol but most companies don’t want to hear that. Also noticed that a lot of people aren’t willing to help new drivers/ co workers out, every man for them selves it seems like.
