Lube for binders

    Kroil Penetrating Solvent... It's god awfully expensive but a very little bit goes a very long ways. Can get it in small or regular sized spray can.

    When first using it, Thoroughly clean you binders in diesel or a parts washer and allow to dry then apply the kroil and run the binder as short as it will go to store them. Then apply a small amount each time you use the binder, or as needed to prevent rusting and gaulding of the threads.

    Kroil is what we used at the fertilizer plant I used to work at... It effectively doubled the life of the binder. And thats saying ALOT when you consider how corrosive fertilizer dust is.

    I use WD 40 on the fly but hub oil is better if you can let ratchets sit for a few.
