What do you guys use to help secure push on lug nut covers? Not enough threads to use thread on covers.

Spares under the bunk for when I stop...

I’ve only lost a handful over the years, usually not a problem

    OldeSkool and Patriotleasing Thank this.

Rip a piece of paper towel, put it over the lug nut and stuff the cover over it.......

Yeah. Until they drive through the WVa turnpike toll booths and tear their brand new spikes off. That has to be humiliating. Lol.

I use the threaded one now, before that, I used the push in Alcoa plastic with the metal inside clips all around, rarely had any issues, then the Time before that(way back) it was the metal cap covers, those were the worst, anyway, those metal ones I smashed(bent them in) them a little and they held. I’ve seen a few used silicon
