Just remember the longer the extention the more torque it will take away from your gun. If you get a 3/4" gun you shouldn't need an extention if you get a 1" big gun a 6" extention will do.
Oh and another thing to remember....hold on tight! One day right after we got the 1" gun I was taking a wheel off and the gun got away from me, needless to say the air hose found my lugnuts...!

Look into Milwaukee 3/4 impact with 6ah battery . No need for air . Makes life a breeze.
goga and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Will that Milwaukee torque them back down to the 450-550 recommended range? -
Milwaukee claims 1200 lbs of take off torque and 750 lbs of tightening torque. So yes it does the job well

Don't ever trust an impact to be able to tighten a fastener to a given spec. Especially a battery powered one. You will also find the torque on the box never meets the actual torque actually applied to the fastener. These battery powered tools are handy as hell, but remember as the battery drains to the lower levels the torque falls off. Pneumatic air tools offer much more consistent torque vs battery power, plus they are quieter. Also follow up with hand tools or a torque wrench to recheck.
For a cordless impact to get a spare changed out on the side of the road, it for sure is the best pick out there I agree.Dino soar, Diesel Dave, AModelCat and 2 others Thank this. -
PS: I keep this gun in the truck with a Cheater wrench and suckets, does everything, but wheels, never do them, unless in the middle of nowhere, which was not existent yet. -
PS: if your engine is down, there is no other option, battery powered tools are your friends. -
My 1/2" air impact claims 1,250 ft-lbs in reverse. Everything it has on tighten it'll barely reach 500 ft-lbs.
Just marketing to sell products IMO.
