Perhaps that was the motivation of the original post.

Two drivers go to the school of hard knocks. Make all kinds of stupid mistakes, BUT eventually both reach the same goal. Driver One decides to help a rookie to avoid the mistakes and the pitfalls he made. Driver Two feels that since no one ever helped him, he will not help anyone, and stays around just to laugh at and make fun of the rookies screwing up and messing up their records. Every time One lends a helping hand, Two gets angry.

Eventually Two realizes that although they went to the same school and had the same experiences, and on paper he should be the same caliber as One, Driver One outperforms him. HOW???? No matter how hard he tries, Two cannot match One. Because he can’t, his only hope is to see if he can bring One down. Thus Two now degenerates into a Hater.
