    Hey that reminds me @Ruthless , what size boxes you got? Did you go with 18 Tx18 Dx60 L? Or 18 Tx24 Dx60 L?

Like the way you low mounted your boxes. I just ordered 2 new bawer stainless 18x18x60 so I can low mount them to keep my winches useable between the spread.

The ones on my steps are 18x18x60 mounted 8" low.
I had 18x24x60 on the last ones, doesn't make enough difference far as usable space to keep them like that for me. Everything on the tie bar side is straps or portables all organized in milk crates; other side is winch bar and all my oversize gear.

Next ones I'll get 4 boxes; so as to put a set of 4' drops and 8' drops in boxes vs the dunnage rack. 1@4' 1@8' per extra box.

Front axle lift adds about 7 or 800 lbs.

I don't think so, I put one on my East stepdeck a couple years ago. I installed the Hendrickson SBL series lift kit. 200 lbs extra at best.

And if I remember correctly, the Hendrickson UBL is less than 100 lbs installed

You may want to reinforce the corners before you instal them boxes. The corners are just but welded. Every one I see including the first one I bought is cracked .

They are all fixed now I hope?

Dam, good looking out @Tug Toy .

I'll keep an eye on them. How's your mounting brackets setup?

The first one I bought last year is on top of my headache rack. 43177664-BFD4-4887-9AD5-22C320737AF0.jpeg i put a piece of good 3/4 plywood in the bottom bolted to box and brackets to distribute the load across the whole box. They are very thin. 9B539EEB-E3E9-4406-B843-0F3B2299E11D.jpeg the second is in between the rears on the original aluminum L brackets. I used a little rubber strip in between the box and bracket (for corrosion). CC6BDA0E-6D28-490B-9F3C-B5C91D7C71EB.jpeg
I just picked up my 3rd yesterday (on order for 2 months) I will install it on between the wheels on the other side of the trailer. It will house my generator.
