Are the bills signed clean? If so you have enough to file a claim. If not then it’s on you. Plain and simple. Even if you tarped it. Also you better get tarp insurance if you don’t already have it.

Bill signed clean . Now its not about money but more principal . I have this situation first time and dont know how to force the broker to pay agreed rate . I had experience filing claim on the bond - not sure if this is the case .
Can you pls explain about tarp insurance ...i am assuming it covers any damage in case if tarp been torn or damaged -
I'm confused. Who wrote "Load left shipper untarped on the bills?
-
Delivery location noted this - that fact is known to all parties because originally it shouldn't be tarped and it was tarped only 120miles later ( 550 miles total run ) , by meaning clean - no damage , no water etc
MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
Delivery location sent broker pics showing 2 machines been tarped , pick up location been returning this machines after 2 year of working and not being able to work out some bugs ( per guy who was returning them back to the manufacturer ) and i believe when machinery been secured they got pics and sent the to delivery place

If that is all true, and If all you carry is hundred thousand cargo...
You got a major problem coming me thinks... -
1. Bill for full amount.
2. 45 days later send demand letter payment in full or will file civil suit.
3. 65 days later file civil suit in your county court. You don't need a lawyer.
Add $1000 to the amount for your court cost and time off.MartinFromBC, LNCTrucking and pavrom Thank this. -
If you're knowledgable and know what does and doesn't need to be tarped, why didnt you take one look at the machine and either throw a tarp on it or tell them to take it off? So 200 dollars wasn't enough to tarp it, you have insurance to cover that whole machine or are you going to pay for a 100k dollar machine because you didn't get 350 dollars to tarp it?

The load slip the OP got said not to tarp it.
So why are you making this out to be his fault.
