Mack engines (mid 2000's)

I have a 2007 e7 427, and I have oil they believe coming from the pistones. Was told that I may need a engine overhaul but I'm not losing oil, no smoke or knocking. Not sure what to do can't afford an overhaul. Any ideas?

 

If your not using oil then why were they looking for oil passing the rings?

 

I mean, what's your truck doing? you don't just randomly look for bad cylinders. excessive blowby ? oil out stacks etc
