With the prices on trucks being what they are, it's made me start looking at trucks that I normally wouldn't have. I'm eyeing out a few pinnacles of various specs and years. The price is right .....so I'm considering them. All very low miles, but I don't know the idle times (because I haven't asked).

    2005
    2009
    2012
    2013
    2014
    2016
    2017
    2018

All really similar miles. All 400k or less. Some alot less. All regional trucks. I'm not a mack guy and I've never owned a newish truck. Certainly nothing with emissions. Anything to look out for?

Edit: I guess some have an e7 and ac380

A former member I keep in touch with swears by his Mack trucks. Claims the Cummins powered trucks won't touch them.

I'd imagine the 505/1860 mp8 is a bear. I pulled frac pumps around with 445 mp8 and they did #### good at 100k. I was impressed

The Performance X15 are allegedly better than the ISX.

I hate how everything has gone proprietary these days. It was only 20 years ago you had everything available in anything.

I agree 100%. Which is the sole reason I'm looking at trucks that I normally wouldn't. The trucks that I really want....I don't want the engines that come in them. Sucks
