Can’t help other than the mp’s had quite a bit issues back then. I wouldn’t touch any ‘08,’09,’10 truck.
All I really can say is if you traveled I-78 between Allentown and Harrisburg between 2003 and about 2010, you couldn't make the trip without seeing a broke down Mack along the road. I've seen more than a few cases where they had the trucks piggybacked and the power unit died. Then the wrecker comes and removes the whole pile from the highway. I love Mack trucks, but I wouldn't own one built between 2003 and 2010. That was the dark ages of truck engines.
