    A lot of companies don't have qualcomms.

    Our trucks DID have gps though. But that didn't stop the broker from wanting macro installed on my phone. Or TQL from calling me 25 times a day and night. And 3 days AFTER the load was delivered.

    If a different company was tracking. And they had their own tracker in the load. They wouldn't need his phone number to still call him.

    As for the software. You can't get rid of it. ( short of factory reset ) If there is. Nobody is saying. You won't find it as an app in the phone. I never installed it so i don't know if there's a file to be found by plugging in to computer.
