Made a new friend

I made a new friend this morning at the ta in tooele, utah.. Its right next to the great salt lake, seagulls everywhere. I opened the curtains to this guy staring at me, #### near gave me a half heart attack. I started up my truck and he didnt even move. I got out of my truck to do my pretrip, i opened the hood , he flew away about 15 ft and stared me down. I close the hood walk back to my headache box to get my winch bar to check straps he flys back up on the hood and sits there.. I finish my pre trip go back inside the truck and sit and drink coffee and eat donuts and he just staring me down and drooling watching me eat donuts . he was a cool lil bird i named him pete. U know what they say about seagulls, they are just old sailors that have passed away and reincarnated into birds to keep the sailors safe, maybe he was one of my old trucking friends thats long passed or a long gone family member. Either way ive been having a bad month and a half and he made me remeber why i love trucking in the first place . ... godspeed pete
