But he recovered in Findlay OH which is way north of I70, so a lot of out of route miles going south to Indy.

He recovered the truck in Findlay OH but then went to Napoleon OH to get an empty trailer and then going to Columbus Ohio to do a drop and hook at Coke... which is south of I70.
So, as I said, only about 40 miles longer and you only hit 1 toll booth by going 70-74-39-90/94. So you save money for the company AND miss Chicago.... it’s a winner! Lol
I personally HATE I65 between Indy and Chicago. -
If only people would read everything before popping off......ncmickey Thanks this.

Got my report from Hireright. Nothing in it other than the nonpreventable accident. Where a runaway truck hit me broadside in a petro parking lot. Nothing else.
-
My bad. I saw all the "racing" but wasn't connecting to geographic locations. Totally agree on going I-74 to I- 39 vs. the agony of I-65.

If you have a load from/thru Indy to the Western Chicago suburbs, try IL 47 north from Mahomet. I do it all the time. Very nice!

Off of I65, at Remington, IN, US 24 is a decent cut across to I57, I39, and IL47. That scale house at the IL state line is open sometimes. I will run out of route miles to avoid Chicago.
Vic Firth Thanks this. -
I am so use to running through Chicago from living in the region that at times it doesn’t phase me. 294, 290, 90 all just a blur now.

They finally finish the road construction 90,94,39,65
mattbh23 Thanks this.
