Not every truck needed a load everyday but I was responsible for keeping 65 trucks loaded. Monday and Friday were the worse usually had to have 50-55 loads to keep them loaded plus deal with customer service issues like missed appointments, pick ups, OS&D. Oh and by the way the job doesn’t pay what you think it pays. Every driver I had made more than I did. Was on call 24 hours a day including weekends.

 

Detention should be paid automatically. As soon as you are there past the two hour point. The Qualcomm can manage that. I said operations is overhead. Like it or not. That is all operations ever are. They do not generate revenue. They manage it. But they do not generate it.

 

Unlike you I have to work and can’t sit on my phone all day.

I’ve been following this thread on and off for years, like you said, it’s a public forum, don’t need a reason.

For someone that claims he’s going to work for this company you sure sound pretty miserable, and you haven’t even spent day one there yet.

Maybe you should buy a truck and book your own loads, problem solved!

 

He thinks every company is the same. He jumps a post just to stir stuff up. A mod.- staff member called him on it awhile back.
