As long as they’re getting paid down good. I used to use the Amex charge gold business…was giving me 4x points on fuel. Paid for a family vacation for us with the points.

To quote John D. Rockefeller when asked how much money is enough money? ...."just a little bit more"!

What others have said, credit card for points but treat it like a debit card. Said credit card points bought 2 RT tickies to Mexico coming up in 7-days.

For me, a high enough credit line to buy a truck. Enough cash to cover a complete rebuild, enough to take the next couple months off, and 60-days operating expenses to build receivables again.

I’ve been working to get mine where I want it. Still a ways to go. Currently set up as…

10k checking - routine expenses and always topped off at 10k.
50k maintenance - I’ll pay with a 2% CC and pay it off using this maintenance. I’d like this to be more like 75-100k before I can sleep well.
Escrow account - weekly deposits for taxes and misc, about 350 a week.
35k - Available business credit cards for emergencies or recurring expenses that are paid for weekly that earn cash back.
