No log book, operating without trailer brakes with OVERWWEIGHT loads. CITED IN FLORIDA for similar problem. So they just cited him again and let him go i guess for him to do it again. And then they turn around and wonder why theres a safety problem with the trucking industry. They should have took his cld, burned it and let him walk home to go find another job. SMH.

Normally Maine is particularly strict on such matters-including arresting the driver on the spot! Especially with log book violations.

Well, he was put OOS, so I'm presuming it was fixed before he was allowed to roll again....
Although I don't disagree about the taking the CDL part. Of course all that would mean is he would be driving on a suspended license.

Nah I seriously doubt they fixed anything. Those types would rather just ignore OOS orders and drive off when the trooper leaves or scales close up

    Badmon Thanks this.

Again, they’re usually strict on it. They must’ve had bigger fish to fry or they didn’t want to mess with the paperwork. But we’ll see.

Yeah, get caught violating that OOS order and he'll be thinking twice about ever doing that again!!

No log book & defective tires, hmm.
This guy ain't got no money, can't afford a log book, new tires or an air hose for the service brakes! lol
