Major carrier training nightmare...

That was about what my trainer did, only he kept the curtain open until I made it through Fancy Gap, VA pulling 30k pounds of paint dye. After that, it stayed closed and I was alone with my thoughts.

 

Since the trainer sleeps within arms reach you could quote Daniel Planview:

Feel free to change house to truck.

P.S. I don't recommend this particular approach.

 

I was 75/25. He didn't need me making him scared to death. So I sat on my bunk being scared to death. He will be just fine. "Diesel powered, 18 wheels for rollin' as I pull it on to the Interstate." Mr. Millsap, said that, I still believe it. He scratched two gears. Makes an old guy proud. He's in your mirrors, stay put and let him pass. Don't go past 65 mph, or you are walking home. All I said. I will know.

 

Sadly it took 5 pages for someone to say what seems obvious...you seem very thin skinned and high maintnence. The only thing all these trainer/mentors have in common is you. Suck it up,deal with whatever it takes to get done or find a new career. Maybe being a CNA....
