No way I would work for an outfit that wouldn't let you park your car at the terminal. You need your car their to clean out the truck when you jump ship. They are just trying to discouraging drivers from leaving.

Not only is it convenient when your just passing
Thru the yard to get some shopping done or take
Care of some personal business.
It's a life saver when you quit or get fired.
When either happens Werner is going to put you
Outside the gate with all your belongings and you'll
Be lucky if they don't spit on you to boot.
I've seen this happen way too many times.
Including myself.
I keep a car wherever my home terminal is,
Doesn't matter if it's 500 miles away.Toomanybikes and plankton Thank this. -
Plus, Where's your piece of mind leaving your car in areas that the general public has access too? Worse yet,Why would you leave your truck (What you count on every week to survive) at a customers store or truckstop or anywhere open to the public??
never understood that one. -
Behind a dollar store while he's on time off then
Have it parked safely at there yard. -
And it always amazes me that anybody would leave any vehicle sitting in a nonsecure length of time.plankton and stayinback Thank this. -
If I go to work for Werner I found a storage facility in Allentown that charges $55 a month to park my car there, also I have family an hour away that might let me leave my car in driveway. Which ever carrier I work for first year is always the hardest and sucks. I’ll just try to make the most of the first year than move on to something else.

Why impose on other family members?
If you can't even park your car at the terminal while earning money for them look elsewhere for work.Western flyer, stayinback and plankton Thank this. -
