I figured it’d be that model. Those are very rear heavy.
that’s why they get stuck so easily on the slightest loose ground.cke, Blue jeans, Vampire and 4 others Thank this. -
My apologies-
Put all wheels on a crossmember whether front rear or side
Forest/trees
Its heavy on hard, small wheels. Spread the weight as much as possible from those little concentrated areas, and put any spread support onto crossmembers.
I’m no heavy hauler- but I stayed at a holiday inn oncecke, pete781693, Blue jeans and 10 others Thank this. -
I was shown that wedging the counterweights onto the main frame beams will reduce the strain under the wheels.
Cut the wedges flat side from hardwood 2X4 lumber and carry 2 sets. you tighten by hammering one onto another. Put them on top of blocking on the main beams.Attached Files:

That thing is a lot smaller than I imagined. I know forklifts are heavy but dang. We've got one at the yard that's physically a little bit smaller but weighs like 15k lbs.
cke, Blue jeans, ProfessionalNoticer and 5 others Thank this. -
Forklift is always heavier on the back since it lifts a load. That is where the counter weight is located. Big tires in front are for the drive line and it steers on the back tires.
cke, Speed_Drums, Toolmaker96 and 2 others Thank this. -
I hauled a large forklift a few weeks ago. Has air filled tires.
weighs 25,000 lbs with a Diesel engine.
looks bigger than the one Pavrom posted but it’s meant to be outside. Different set up.cke, Speed_Drums, Blue jeans and 1 other person Thank this. -
Hard tire machines are deck wreckers. We’ve had more then one fall through our wood deck rgns.
side note, 4 3/8 chains and a strap is under secured on a 39k pound machine.cke, Blue jeans, ProfessionalNoticer and 4 others Thank this.
