MAJOR Winter Storm...

Sitting here in Michigan, were just getting ready for the worst of it. Got 30 mph winds going to 40mph tonight. Expecting 10 to 14 inches tonight and more tomorrow. Hope everyone is safe tonight!

 

I-44 is shut down at the Missouri border going into Oklahoma. Local news is saying I-44 in NE OK looks like a parking lot with stranded motorists everywhere.

 

Sitting here in OKC all day. Rolled in here this morning about 330 and it was BAD! I heard 44 is closed from around Big Cabin all the way past Springfield. OK has the National GUard out on 44 north east of Tulsa doing rescues. I need to deliver in Carthage but called the broker and told them not happening today. Hoping for the best tomorrow. Right now it's cold but no snow and the wind has let up a bunch so maybe they'll get the plows rolling.

 

2-3 DAYS!!???!!! FROM TONIGHT,-2/1/2011 ?????????????? Woe,woe,woe is me..

 

I'd guess it's gonna be at least a day or 2 before they get everything open and going again.

 

its horrible and a mess here in erie--not snowing or anything--its just always that way --year around

 

Local forecasters are saying no more chances of snow in the NE OK / SW MO area until Mon or Tues next week. The storm has been pushing out of this area for a few hours now.

Heaven help the folks in the Chicago and New England areas. They are going to get dumped on big time. Last I heard Chicago is expecting upwards of two feet of snow tonight and tomorrow.

 

But I got to deliver from Gallatin TN to GM Fairfax in KC 22:30 tomorrow Dispach says run it!
