Its cheaper to wreck a Chinese tire than a good one.

Every Virgin I’ve blown (get your head out of the gutter) has been due to low inflation after picking up road debris. Usually metal in the sidewall. Not sure where you heard they don’t blow.

    A virgin can run low.

That means less then 60 psi. Not 0
Good luck on getting recaps to hold at that point.

Every virgin I've had. Dismounts from the rim. In the winter. Some recaps also.

It's harder to blow up one solid piece of rubber. Very easy to blow up 2 pieces of rubber glued together.

Where did I hear that from? How many truckers are in America?

If I had to guess. Not many truckers can tell if a tire is virgin or recap.
They see brand new tread and think it's a virgin.

A virgin with 60 pounds of air on a 90 degree day with a load with blow in a hurry.

Also a virgin tire isn’t one solid piece of rubber.

gentleroger, Oxbow and Long FLD Thank this.

Here’s how a virgin tire is made. Far from being one piece of rubber.

And there will be unseen damage to a virgin tire running it at 60psi.

2 weeks ago. End of Friday. I fueled up the truck. Tires were fine. Jumped on the freeway and made the exit to the house. 15 miles. I noticed the steering wheel at that point. Right steer was down to 50. Pumped it up and made the last 5 miles to the house. Saturday morning boss had tire shop come out and install 2 new steers.

But if it’s ok to run virgin tires low then why replace them? Why not just fix the leak and air it back up and run it?
