So what's the take away on this company for an experienced driver, I'm mostly curious in how much micromanaging they do?
They offered me a dedicated run out of my area, so again any new info and how's the micro situation. -
My concern is, that you are wondering if you would like trucking? It is much more than a job. It should be a passion. Nothing less.
There might be enough home time for a few, but good luck. Many drivers that I have known, eventually don’t want to be home much. Easier to stay lazy, avoid responsibility and let the wife do it all.
Many are in it too, because well, they were out of options and no education.
It is the worst thing that you can do physically. Go to any truck stop and look around. If you don’t mind becoming what you see, then never mind.
Other than that, join the fun. -
