Making an Emergency 911 Call

a week-10 days ago the same thing happened in KY at the onramp from the rest area (south of Louisville) but is was the women..... she stabbed him in the head with a knife as he was driving on the freeway..... he got off the road and ran 20 yd's fell, got up ran again about 10 yd's fell down and died......

 

TripleSix, that's a terrible comment. All women aren't the same. I agree that it happens quite a bit, love is strange, but what if you didn't help her and she was the one who needed it?

 

I call 911 to report stuff all the time.
Most common reason is something on Fire.
Haven't called in a while.

 

In those types of situations, I just react. I let my instinct take over. My next door neighbor was a female and she had her brother staying with her. One day I heard a loud banging. I went outside and here her brother was banging on the door trying to get in. Apparently she locked him out for some reason. He was a druggie so I'm sure it had something to do with that. Anyway, I went out and said "knock it off, my wife is trying to sleep". He said "I don't care". I got right in his face and said "you're going to care when I put your face through that door". So he calmed down a bit. Next thing I hear is breaking glass. He broke a window trying to get in and his sister came to the door. I run outside and see him laying into her. Needless to say I grabbed him, knocked his feet from under him and put my knee on his neck while holding his arm behind him. It wasn't even something I thought about. I just did. He was squirming around and almost got loose so I pressed my knee into his neck harder and told him if he keeps moving I have no doubt that I will stop him from breathing. He stopped moving. My wife called the cops and they showed up and arrested him for all kinds of stuff.

Point is, sometimes you have to intervene. It doesn't matter what the consequences are of your choice to intervene. As long as you know you did something to help someone from getting hurt, you were in the right. No matter what. Too many people today have turned into little weakling cowards too scared to confront people. Not saying OP is such. But who knows what happened to the woman getting beaten? Maybe she's ok. Maybe not. You don't know. And that would bug me so bad I wouldn't be able to sleep at night.

It's the same every day man. Cold baked bean burrito with lots of tobasco or a peanut butter sandwich with banana, fruit cup and a fruit/nut bar.
