it looks like my first day will be on 16july12, took a road test with a driver last name smith from Montgomery Al. pretty nice guy he passed me with no gigs. i have a physical drug screen tomorrow 05july then the dexterity test on Monday pretty cool so for. For the past twenty five years I've never paid any attention to the police but now I'm having slow down really watch my driving. Smith was good at pointing them out to me and I'm glad because i wasn't paying them any attention. Making note to self.

as a former correctional officer standard tests didn't detect synthetic pot
newer tests were developed and work
first day 100 inmates were sent back to prison from the pre release center
    you can't fix stupid
Also as much as the high and mighty will tell you every truck driver does what is right legal and safe
it doesn't happen the same problems afflicting the rest of society plague the trucking industry
Being clean and sober for 11 years now I realize drug addiction and alcoholism isn't just diseases of the homeless
or the fishermen or construction workere
I have 2 friends who are retired judges another friend is a catholic priest and many wall street bankers and brokers
local state and federal cops also
So truck drivers will always be in that group also some might never get caught just a sad fact of life

Congrats and good luck. They seem to be a great company so far from my experience.

Absorb all the information you can when you are with your trainer. There is a lot to know about all this as I have found out. There is no such thing as a dumb question. Ask all you can. Have fun and be safe.
