When im making turns I look far ahead then plan as im approaching it.I have a few turns on my route that it has to be completely clear in order to make it.Now when I use to deliver tvo NYC I never had a problem with sticking my head out and asking the motorist to stay back, lol.

Stick to the basics. Block traffic on your right side, swing into the left lane when clear, then make your turn. That allows the trailer to turn without under compensation of trailer drift.

For a fun time, come to Texas and drive a 57' through some side streets in Houston at rush hour. What a "rush!" LOL
