Man saddled with drink-riding conviction

Lol, that's pathetic. The whole premise behind stopping drunk drivers is because they might hit something. A horse has its own brain, he'll go around. Course they'll also charge you with drunk driving if you're mowing your own lawn on a riding tractor or even wearing roller skates.

Guys, tennant creek is a tiny little town, in the middle of nowhere.
there is no problem here, exept maybe a new cop in the town..

AU is starting to become a very regulated NANNY country. you cant do anything that might invovle a risk anymore.

 

Hey, I just thought of something. They say he can't drive....but he can still ride the horse. Talk about totally ineffective.

I'd say that this horse had a brain based on the fact that it got the guy home just fine and the cops were so unconcerned that they didn't even bother to go arrest him until the next day.
