Man Tazed During Trucker Protest In D.C.

Heh, I only found out about this today.

Bet it gets absolutely ZERO coverage (what with the raid on Trump's attorney and the gassing in Syria)

We could all quit tomorrow and it'd probably take people 2-3 days to notice.

 

Finally got around to seeing the video. This is why we're not taken seriously, maybe 2 dozen owner ops park bobtails on the Washington Mall and peaceably assemble.

The DACA/BLM/NeverTrumpers/HandsupDontShoot crowd shows up in the HUNDREDS. They have more protesters arrested than we had show up to this little garden picnic.

A real protest would involve strategically dropping trailers across the beltway at various spots. So that rush hour would be effectively blocked and that any towing company would take a significant amount of time to remove them.

Now THAT would be a protest that would get attention (and probably cost people their licenses,) so you'd need a good legal team to defend you that your "public obstruction" was a constitutionally protected act of civil disobedience. (Again, look at what professional protesters get away with)

You guys are sweating parking tickets in a city that hates trucks making deliveries.

Also, at some point some AlAqueda nutjob is going to get his CDL (or just access to a truck) and pulls some Oklahoma stunt with 40k of c4. Then you'll never be able to get anywhere near 'our lords and masters' without a police escort ever again.
