Yeah, taking an engine designed to pull over 40 tons and bring it up to highway speed and then trying to make it meet retarded emission standards is bound to have problems. One of the major problems with that engine is that it shoots engine coolant out the pipes. Fun times to be had when you find yourself overheating out in the middle of nowhere. I have no idea if the problem has been fixed with the 2014-2015 models.
Edit: The price they are selling it for is way too much. The poor soul that buys it for that much will hate themselves later on. bye bye maintenance account. -
a truck with a 100000 miles is a truck ran for one year.
If I didn't know anything about Maxxipad engines I'd think it was a great deal. -

its a lightweight truck with no storage space and an irregular sized sleeper, stay away from it anyway

Not even then bro. A truck should at least average around 100k per year. Less than that isn't "a find," like it is with a car. Granny ain't drivin' this truck once a year to the C-store. A low-mileage truck usually means there's something wrong with it.

My bad, misread on the overhaul...

you must of had like a prime version or something. I had to drive one for 2 years and had more storage then any truck I had before. The motor likes to implode in 300k it has a total overhaul and went thur 4 turbos. Needless to say its now traded in.
Now I have a International with a cummins motor and its been alright.
