No idea but plenty opinion is what I keep seeing.
Not all but defiantly some.
I personal don't like the automated transmissions we have for maneuvering.
They are all 2 pedal versions.
Otherwise no issues at all.
We operate at well over 100 000lbs all the time.
The only issues we have had are when the electrical connectors get corroded or wiring harnesses have issues.
This manifests its self in many of the ways described by the posters before.
It is an easy fix and if you shop knows this they can do some preventive maintenance every 250 000miles by cleaning all connectors.
The newer automated transmissions are also a lot better.
The Volvo I Shift is the best IMO.
We operate them at 250 000lbs on heavy haul in mountain passes with no issues.
