    Hello

Just had Waze put me on the "quickest" route but was a back country Farm to Market road with no center median and lots of local tractor traffic obviously Waze did not factor in. Oncoming cars with drivers texting is not part of Waze's route logic either.

Are there any paper maps/almanacs with 4-lane divided highways and/or federal interstates as the only ones listed ?

    Thank You

Waze assumes you’re in a car and it probably was the shortest or the fastest route depending on how you have it set up. Don’t blame Waze for working as it’s supposed to.

Get an Atlas. Pretty easy to tell what’s a 4 lane and what isn’t.

Depending on weight/height restrictions, Trucks are allowed on roads other than freeways or other divided highways.

Shhhh.....don’t say that. I like having the skinny roads all to myself.

If you don't have an atlas or how to read it, how do you know you weren't on the fastest route?

Zoom out far enough on your GPS screen and all you'll be left with is 4 lane divided highways. You're welcome.

The Median isn't going to keep you safe... Ask Werner.
