Researchers find link between cannabis use disorder and schizophrenia

So much for the oft-repeated claim that marijuana is less harmful than cigarettes.

And for years we've been told that marijuana is not addictive, but apparently that has been a big lie.

Pot is psychologically addicting. Not physically like hairon. Although back in the day if anybody was out of pot , it was Mission number One to aquire some.

The schizophrenic part is baloney imo.

I totally agree. People that use the F bomb like a common vowel are also linked to schizophrenia.

Whenever you see, more over hear it, and the accompanied attitude, pot is involved.

I agree, I used to get paranoid, something like, who’s watching me or following me. At first it was all good but after awhile, the paranoia kicked in. Of course, this was many decades ago. I still like the smell of a good burning bud but won’t touch it.

Only thing mary juana did for me was tune me into myself.

I never heard anyone call it schizophrenia in the 70's and 80's, just paranoia, so I usually ended up stoned yet v-e-r-y q-u-i-e-t and sometimes wondered if someone could hear my heart beat.

If I was in a crowd, I may not have been there as far as my mind was concerned, but then is what Alcohol created.

I liked Quadrophenia yet one needed not any schizophrenia or paranoia, just a nice long cruise on the rivers of thy mind, with or without external vibrations.

I used to use it when I was younger. Everything seemed better on it. Like being in a warm cocoon. I quit for a couple of decades due to work. Tried it again and it now made me real paranoid. Things seemed too real. Thinking about death and such. I have no use for it but alcoholism is way more destructive. I've seen what that did to my peers. Both physically and mentally deteriorating.
