Haha! That's why so many "medicinal marijuana" patients face scrutiny from the general public - marijuana prescription for a knee injury?

MD's in medicinal states are giving out licenses for anything; oh, you have anxiety and your telling me pot helps, here's a license; oh, you claim you have chronic nausea and marijuana helps, here's a license.

The reason most don't want to employ medical marijuana users? Because most are abusing the law to smoke weed free and clear.

 

Just make it legal, and have it be considered the same as alcohol, and, problem solved.

 

I agree; if the government just regulated and taxed marijuana they'd make billions. Alcohol and marijuana - recession proof cash cows...

Funny! From all the health threads on this forum, an ilegal drug is brought up, and BOOM!!! Did you see how many viewers? How many comments? It's high in the top! Why is it than every time there's a TABOO subject, people croud themselves?

This is more than just a "taboo subject" about a drug. In fact, marijuana isn't really taboo anymore. That's why this thread has been so popular.

This is about people realizing WHY marijuana has been illegal all these years. It's about people realizing how we've been LIED to because of dishonest motives. It's about people figuring out that we could make BILLIONS on this stuff (not to mention bringing industrial hemp back in this country which we currently are forced to import) while at the same time SAVING BILLIONS on enforcement. It's about taking the funding away from the illegal drug cartels in Mexico killing our cops and private citizens (75% of Mexican drug cartel funding is from the "evil weed").

This is much more than an "illegal drug." If this topic were about Meth, there wouldn't be a discussion. This is about a drug that is less harmful than our legal drugs and less harmful than many prescriptions (including most pain killers). There has finally been enough research done on Marijuana and THC to prove that what we've been told about this "killer drug" over the years is totally false.

From a health standpoint, you'd be better off smoking a joint than getting drunk. If you want to press that FACT I'd be happy to go into detail. But it will turn into a long read, so I'll spare you the details for now.

The fact that this is still a debate is incredible. But when you've been raised to believe something so strongly (such as ALL drugs are bad, except the ones your doctor prescribes), it's tough to break people from that thinking. They take it personally and fight back, rather than realizing they have been wrong about this their entire life.
