A quick PSA to all hazmat drivers. These ridiculous "marine pollutant" placards are
completely unnecessary. So long as you're displaying a placard with the correct hazard class, packing group, and UN number there is no need to add these. In fact they are a liability, losing one in transit will put you in violation. Throw them away if the shipper gives them to you.
