    A little long story

Thanks for that above statement volvo, you reminded me of a guy I worked with in the early 70’s, George.

He would show up at a work site with his car, ‘69 hurst olds. The car was fantastic, fast, spotless loaded too, it had power locks and windows, I learned later his brother or brother-in-law was the guy who pinstriped every one of the hurst olds cars produced so he bought one of the first ones off the line.

George was a odd guy, always joking around but when it came to work he was one of the best techs around And took it so seriously that if someone tried to joke around he would get really pissed off. He would get his work done before lunch but stuck around to make sure no one else needed help,

George would take a little break 20 minutes before lunch and eat a sandwich.

When lunch would come around, everyone would leave except for those who had to do additional work, I was one of the lucky ones who didn’t go to lunch. George would always drive to lunch alone when any group would go, no one ever rode with him to the restaurant and no one ever said why.

One day George asked a couple of the new techs, one of them said he would and did.

The new tech came back to the site with the others, he was soooo green then George arrived about five minutes later and stayed in his car for ten minutes or so then came in, packed up and left for the day.
I didn’t dare ask what happen, the new tech said he could not eat, he puked and stayed in the bathroom as he passed me.

One of the supervisors told the tech to go home and get something to drink, beer will help.

so about an hour before we were to leave, I’m packing up my test gear and the tech super had me sign off on the work I did, he told me what happened,

he started by asking me if George ever asked me to ride with him, is said no.

he chuckled and then said I am one of the lucky ones.

see George has a bad habit of living flatulence, and liking to sit in the car smelling it as he cuts loud and stinky farts.

Because he did this around his ex wife in the car, he disconnected the power window and the power door Switches on the passenger door so she could not roll the window down. So the new tech could not roll the window down or get out of the car at a stop light,

George eats the sandwich which is a refried bean and cabbage sandwich 39 minutes before he left for lunch to get primed for a trip.

the new tech quit, he said to the manager who repeated it to the group that he never smelled something so bad as he did on that trip to lunch and can’t work around the guy knowing he likes to smell it.

"...‘69 hurst olds..." should have been summarily executed for defiling such a fine automobile:D

That's probably the nastiest thing I've ever heard of anyone doing.

    Yeah, probably is.
