Yeah I’m can see that but see craig you need to get that icom 7300 rabbi thinks is so great and you can dial up 27.185 dominate the channel.

That's not really the case anymore. If you want a radio that you can unbox, plug in and run these days, go with Uniden or President. Cobras have been coming out of the box way, way off. #### like 55% stock modulation, stock receive in the high 80s/low 90s, off frequency, etc. They just don't care anymore.

 

I've always found base station installations to be less temperamental than a truck mount

 

An icome is not goin on my dash,in a cubby hole or in the house..NOT HAPPENIN

 

Ok how about a Collins transmit and receiver set, it is almost a ton of weight, pretty easy to gut the sleeper and put in there. So what if you have to sleep on the seat but you would still some good on am.,

 

Naw ....No wait!!!! Nooo still naw...I likes my nap time at 10pm till 0430 am while i wait for ups to load my trailer for home....
