the guy said it took the FCC quite a long time to figure out where that signal was coming from.

I tuned a Dodge van with a gamma match off my Moonraker 6 when it was off the tower for ice repairs. Bolted to the rear bumper, used a mfj to get it resonating. Parked on a hill in Nashville TN and worked skip from Cali all day with a cobra 29 and Galaxy Pluto on ssb. Back in the 80's.

Used a gamma match on a 79 Pete coe with a Texas Star 500 and cobra 78x for a few years too. Could raise total hell in a truckstop at night and never be suspect because I had no antennas.

Found a video on Fine Tune facebook page of before and after on a Stryker ( i think). It was very very clean and mean after the tune up! Wondering if he can do any good with a Cobra 29 because all the videos are of exports and HP radios?

The radio was 425 of that, plus a botched "tune" by Bells, plus the shipping to Mark and his tune.

I think he's trying to get away from Cobra 29 although he used to work on them in the past

Im not to worried about the cobra..My concern is my stryker and if i should bother with haveing him match my tx star with it or just let him do his magic on the radio alone..
