    You can drill a couple holes in the case of the microphone and install a couple push buttons for your channel up down selectors. Only needs a 5 wire cord for channel up/down plus shield audio and transmit.

    I probably will end up doing just that. I wanted to get it hooked up and tested first though.

    I heard 131 Mustang yesterday in GA. Now that guy has a good sounding rig. He mentioned he was using a Heil mic but I forget the model number.

    Well it dont matter what the 955 fella was useing cause it didnt sound as good as the fella that "flipped the switch" as he put it...To me the 955 guy has bis lips on the mic..Other,clear as a bell..

    I did that video back in 2012 before I went to North Dakota and I'm the guy that flipped the switch

    I've got lots more interesting long-distance videos scattered across multiple hard drives and it's going to take me a long time to sort through all that stuff to get it all uploaded onto YouTube

    When one realizes you can talk to Jamaica with a Realistic 23 channel walkie-talkie...... Talking skip just isn't that impressive.
