what sucks is that thing made the whole unit more stable I could tell...I'm going to put it back on soon and try to figure out the swr situation with it ....

 

that's about all you want done to a new radio anyways.... they start doing more to it they'll just jack it up and whack it up..... super whack pak tune with every new radio we sell......lmao

 

if anybody can get a 1:1 to 1:3 on all 40 channels they're doing alright and shouldn't be pulling their hair out to get better results...

 

Unless of course if they get it down to 1.5:1 and still have a problem talking 20 miles

 

AA-54 on its way for delivery Friday. That is unless hurricane Matthew blows the UPS man away.

The aa 54 is what i shoulda gotten ir even the next one up from that..Some of those extra iptions would be nice..Your gonna like it..

 

I looked at the comparison table between the 54 and the 170. Other than the additional frequency coverage, I couldn't see any additional benefits for the cost. That's why I went with the 54.

 

You could have saved yourself a hundred bucks by getting the AA-30

 

and you guys that matter wouldn't have known what a rig expert is if it wasn't for me.. you should all leave me in your will..... lol
